Yesudas” fortuitously reminds all the Gollywood fans of the evergreen song “Amma Endrazhaikaadha….” in the Tamil movie“Mannan”. But as far as male playback singers are concerned, it’s the truth that I am so technically qualified in Hindi songs to compare, finalise & short-list them, so I am going by my favourites in Tamil.Īlmost the name “K.J. I shall try my best to bring out my most favourite Ten best songs alone. In this connection, I think it is really very very difficult or probably even beyond my scope to choose just “Ten best songs of Yesudas”, while if given an opportunity, I would be able to just like that list even 100 of my favourite songs of Yesudas! But what to do ……. I am absolutely confident that no one could ever break his record of the(maximum sung) most heart-melting comely Ayyappan Songs. His sweet voice in the prayer songs of Lord Ayyappa, really melts even the most hard-hearted persons and spontaneously brings out the tears of devotion. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration if I mention at this place that no one has sung as many songs as K.J. Yesudas, a Malayalee(native of the state of Kerala in India), has sung “thousands” of songs including those of prayer songs of Lord Ayyappa & on various other Gods, classical based songs, the film songs in all the South Indian languages like Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil etc., and in several North Indian languages too. It would not be out of place if I mention that my grandpa was an ardent admirer of Yesudas & then it was my dad’s turn and now it is me & who knows tomorrow he could be the BEST SINGER for my children too! K.J. This is again going to be something related to an amazing evergreen Singer from me! In fact from the overwhelming response for my review on the most remarkable Singer “Kavita Krishnamurthy”, I really did understand the numerous music fans in the MS Circle.
